EVERYDAY RECIPES: BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

A friend of mine made these and once I had one I was hooked. I begged her to send me the recipe! There's a secret ingredient to the world's best chocolate chip cookie that makes it so fluffy and soft and chewy that once you taste it you may never go back to your Nestle Tollhouse recipe. Do you want to know what it is? Should I tell you? Ok fine I will. You can probably google it anyway.
What you'll need:
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix<---(secret ingredient)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine butter, both sugars, eggs and vanilla pudding mix. Mix together until smooth. Add vanilla and baking soda and mix well. Add flour a little at a time, mixing as you go until combined. Add chocolate chips.
Bake for 9-10 mins. Pull out of oven when the little peaks on the cookies JUST start to turn golden brown.
