EVERYDAY: CURRENT HAIR MUST HAVES
Hey guys!! I hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July! Independence Day is my favorite holiday. I just love this country so much and I love celebrating the American way (ie: eating lots of yummy food, baseball games, pool parties, fireworks, flags, etc). Onto what I've got for you today....I've found some DYNO-MITE hair products lately that were just begging to be shared. So without further ado....here they are!
If you're looking for va-va-va-voom volume, Texture Takeover needs to in your beauty arsenal. Just a few sprays after styling will give you big, sexy hair a la Jessica Simpson. You know what they say...the higher the hair, the closer to God, right? I'm pretty sure this stuff will legitimately turn you into an angel. ;)
2. Nexxus Comb Thru Finishing Mist
I'm always on the hunt for a hairspray that isn't sticky or stiff for my long hair. I ran out of my usual salon go-to one day and needed something stat (ie: I was at Target and I didn't have time to go anywhere else). The pink bottle is really what caught my eye but the product is actually what kept me coming back! It's a PERFECT lightweight flexible hold hairspray and also super convenient because you can buy it at Target, Ulta and your local drug stores.
My stylist uses the Davines product line and I always leave the salon with dreamy-smelling hair. Besides the amazing smell of this stuff, it works wonders in keeping your hair nourished & healthy. It's "for hydrating and shine-enhancing, for any hair type. Lightweight OI All In One Milk softens, detangles, controls frizz and protects from frizz." Yep, I'd say it does it all. If you only have one product in your hair regimen, this needs to be it!
Between the gym, toddler-momming AND living in the South, blow drying my hair doesn't happen most days. I'd say I'm an air-drier 90% of the time! This Fave4 Up for Air styling creme is MEANT for air drying and doesn't disappoint. It gives my hair subtle waves and takes away all the frizz. It smells great too (obviously smell is very important to me...I mention it in almost all of these products).
5. Kerastase Densifique Densimorphose Thickening Mousse
I like to use this when I want a little extra "oomph." It's a lightweight mousse that gives my hair some extra hold when styling while keeping it looking healthy and moisturized. The best part is you only need a tiny amount so it lasts FOREVER! I think I've had mine for 2 years. Not sure what the expiration limit is on hair products but it still works so Imma go with it. ;)
