EVERYDAY: INVESTMENT PIECES - PART II

January is when I like to do my winter coat & boot shopping...for NEXT winter. In Atlanta, we won't use big, heavy coats a ton but let me tell you...it is SO nice to have on to grab on those really cold winter days or to pack for a trip to the mountains! Things I look for in an investment coat or boot:

1. Quality, quality , quality!

2. Ability to stand up to wear for years without going out of style

As far as boots go, I cannot rave enough about my Hunters. They've been with me for about 5 years now and still look brand new. They don't go out of style and I am considering purchasing more colors because they are just perfect for fall through spring. You will be thanking yourself on those rainy (or snowy) cold days that you snagged them (and at a major discount)! Right now everything is on sale.

I've had a Northface parka for a few years now and it's come with me on ski trips as well as recently made an appearance when Atlanta randomly got a ton of snow one weekend. Also always good to have a nice wool coat to step up any outfit during the winter and to wear for special occasions when it's cold outside! Definitely worth the investment to have a nice, heavy winter coat on hand!

I've gathered up some of my favorites for you below...and they are all on major sale!
