EVERYDAY: LEFTOVER HALLOWEEN CANDY COOKIES

I saw a great post from The Baker Mama on how to use up some of that halloween candy in some yummy freezer cookie dough and decided to put my own spin on the recipe! These are great for making ahead and freezing for whenever you have a bunch of kiddos over or just feel the need for something sweet :)

I used my perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe for these and they turned out great. Here's how I did it:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Follow directions for The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies and omit the chocolate chips.

Chop up about 10-12 mini candy bars + a few bags mini M&M's or Reese's Pieces.

Add chopped up candy to dough and mix well.

Scoop approximately 2 inch dough balls onto cookie sheet.

Add a few more pieces chopped up candy/coated candy pieces to the outside of the balls of dough.

From here you can put them in the freezer for 30 minutes and once they are firm transfer them to freezer bags to be saved for later.

-OR-

Bake them for 10-11 minutest until the bottoms are JUST turning golden brown.

Enjoy!!
